Job summary

Gower Veterinary Surgery, part of Linnaeus Veterinary Limited, seeks a Client Care Associate to be the first friendly face for clients. The role involves greeting customers, diary management and handling queries in a busy practice environment. Training and development are encouraged within a supportive team.

Salary is £25,038 per annum for 37.5 hours weekly with varied weekday shifts and Saturday on a rota basis. Benefits include holiday entitlement, CPD, pension and staff discounts.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Care Associate to join Gower Veterinary Surgery. Client Care Associates are integral to creating the first impression of our practice. Clients and visitors should be welcomed in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner. Applicants must be friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a customer facing role within a Veterinary Practice preferable. Growth within the role is encouraged and successful applicants will be given further training.

Roles and responsibilities

• Welcoming and registering new customers.
• Booking in customers and diary management.
• Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries.
• Managing customer expectations regarding waiting times.
• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc Processing prescription requests.
• Taking payments.
• Promoting offers and services.
• Ensuring that public areas and consult rooms are clean and presentable.
