Job summary

Medivet Broadbridge Heath is seeking a proactive Full-time Client Care Assistant to join our friendly practice. You will be the first point of contact for client calls and visits, delivering excellent customer service while supporting the veterinary team.

You will need to be calm, organised and warm, with strong numeracy and experience using online appointment bookings. This role covers 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles and medical/veterinary reception is desirable.
• Strong numeracy and data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greet clients on arrival, and update records.
• Triage emergency appointments and liaise with clients to rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to ensure appointments are available and aligned with team skills.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages efficiently.
• Ensure appointment slots are available for online booking.
• Process repeat prescription orders and support the veterinary team.

Medivet Broadbridge is recruiting for a Full time Client Care Assistant to join their friendly team in Broadbridge Heath.You will be the first point of contact for client phone calls and visits and will be responsible for delivering exceptional care, always there for clients, patients, and colleagues.You will need to be calm, organised and friendly with excellent customer service skills and a love of animals.The role is 40hrs a week with 1 in 4 weekends and a fair contribution to Bank holiday cover.

About you

You’re skilled at providing exceptional client facing care, with excellent reception skills. You’ll have good numeracy skills, with experience of using online appointment booking systems. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

We welcome applications from candidates who are able to prioritise, can remain calm under pressure and who are flexible and willing to learn. Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:
