Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Client Account Manager / Sales Executive with experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) to join a dynamic and growing team. This role will focus on managing and expanding client relationships while driving sales within the SaaS sector.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling, and helping to ensure customer success with our client’s products. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for SaaS sales and excellent communication skills to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and support. Understand client needs and align them with the right SaaS solutions, driving customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your client portfolio. Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Upsell and cross-sell additional services and products to existing clients to maximise revenue.
  3. Client Onboarding & Support: Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, working with the technical and customer support teams to ensure successful implementation. Provide ongoing support and product training to clients to ensure high adoption and usage.
  4. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and technical teams, to deliver exceptional service to clients. Track client activity and sales progress using CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance and customer satisfaction.

The Person

  1. Proven Sales Experience – 2+ years of experience in sales or account management within the SaaS industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  2. Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  3. Client-Focused Approach – Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  4. Knowledge of SaaS Solutions – Understanding of SaaS products and solutions, with the ability to explain technical features in a simple and compelling way.
  5. Problem Solving – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to think strategically to meet client needs.
  6. CRM Proficiency – Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  7. Target-Oriented – Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a focus on achieving sales goals.
  8. Education – A degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  9. Familiarity with the [specific SaaS product or platform your client offers].
  10. Knowledge of the [relevant industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, education] market.
  11. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
