Role Overview:

The AWS Alliance Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive sales and revenue. This includes building relationships with AWS and its partners, developing sales strategies aligned with AWS offerings, managing the sales pipeline for accurate forecasting, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimize impact. The role also involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing AWS-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and nurturing partnership relationships
  • Supporting sales and account managers in pipeline development
  • Creating compelling value propositions
  • Developing content, collateral, campaigns, and outreach strategies
  • Utilizing social media and other tools for research and outbound sales activities
  • Managing sales operations using internal and partner systems

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience selling AWS professional services such as platform/software engineering and IoT
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or other AWS certifications
  • Experience building relationships with external companies
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams like Account Managers and Marketing
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales processes
  • Target-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity and creating actionable next steps
