NHS Fife is looking for a Clerical Officer in the Ophthalmology department's cataract unit. The Ophthalmology department at NHS Fife is seeking an experienced Clerical Officer to join the cataract unit team. The successful candidate will interact with patients, the public, and staff within the department.
Key responsibilities include managing telephone communications with general practitioners, opticians, patients, and other healthcare organisations, as well as navigating trakcare to organise appointments.
The role reports to the Senior Charge Nurse of Ophthalmology.
Existing NHS employees must discuss this opportunity with their line manager before applying. External applicants with NHS service must have a secondment agreement in place. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
