£25,147.20 Per Annum, £12.09 Per Hour / 40 Hours Per Week

Fixed Term Contract Until: 2025-12-31

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Conference Host to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be the face of our conference and meeting rooms, responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our service meet the highest standards of excellence. You will greet and interact with delegates, confirm event specifics, manage room setups, and oversee the cleanliness and readiness of the conference facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Interaction: Greet delegates warmly and provide them with all necessary event information, including room setups, break timings, and facility details.
  • Facility Management: Ensure that all conference areas are impeccably maintained, including signage, cleanliness, and setup of spaces such as the academy and dining areas.
  • Event Coordination: Confirm and oversee room setups according to specific event requirements and ensure that all aspects of the event environment are prepared before guests arrive.
  • Safety and Compliance: Clearly explain house rules, emergency procedures, and facilities such as fire evacuation routes and restroom locations.
  • Food Service: Ensure smooth service of meals, whether in a restaurant or conference setting, and address any food service-related issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in hospitality, event management, or customer service is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
