Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to supervise day-to-day cleaning services across client sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.

You’ll manage workloads, rotas, stock and equipment, deliver regular briefings, and drive safety compliance including COSHH and PPE. Experience in facilities management or broadcasting premises is preferred. A DBS check will be completed as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a cleaning or facilities team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and standards.
• Strong Health & Safety and COSHH understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cleaning team to meet standards.
• Allocate workloads and maintain rotas.
• Respond to service issues via helpdesk processes.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH, risk assessments, PPE.
• Complete regular cleaning audits and address actions.
• Manage stock, consumables, equipment and machinery.
• Deliver team briefings and toolbox talks; keep records.
• Support mandatory and online training; identify development needs.
• Authorise and process timesheets accurately and on time.
• Promote a positive, professional and customer-focused environment.
