Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to be the on-site point of contact for clients and managers, coordinating a cleaning team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The role includes staff training and adherence to health and safety regulations, with reporting to the Site Manager and a focus on quality control.

You will lead by example, manage supplies, and address operational challenges to maintain smooth operations, while ensuring COSHH and safety compliance

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to coordinate and lead a cleaning team.
• Experience cleaning in similar environments.
• Understanding COSHH and health & safety compliance on similar sites.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.
• Strong communication skills for client liaison and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site point of contact for clients and managers.
• Coordinate and drive a cleaning team, performing core cleaning duties.
• Assist with training and induction of new staff and maintain training records.
• Lead by example and follow safe systems of work and method statements.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are performed to high standards and conduct quality inspections.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and upkeep.
