Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Team Leader / Cleaning Supervisor for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover in Grays, Essex. You will lead cleaning teams across a busy shopping centre, ensuring high standards and safe operations.

This hands-on leadership role involves rota planning, training delivery, recruitment support and close collaboration with management to maintain excellent service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or team leadership roles.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate shift cleaning teams to deliver consistently high standards.
• Organise shift rotas and day-to-day operational activities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and compliance standards are maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries and complaints.
