Job summary

PSS Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a 10-hour per week role at Mango Goodwood Square in Thornaby. The position offers a fixed hourly rate of £14.50 with early morning shifts (07:00–09:00). Training is provided, with overtime and weekend coverage encouraged to support staff coverage.

Ideal candidates will follow instructions keenly, present a polite and professionaldemeanor, and be willing to learn. Uniform is provided and the role includes periodic responsibilities across the site.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime to cover staff sickness and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional standards.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work outside regular hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

• 10 hours per week. 07:00 - 09:00 hrs paid
• £14:50 per hr

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
