Job summary

PROPERTY SUPPORT SERVICES UK LIMITED is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Horsham to perform on-site cleaning across designated areas to strict health and safety standards.

The role is 30 hours per week with a rolling rota, including weekend shifts. Full training is provided and overtime may be required to cover sickness or holidays. Uniform is provided and the site operates 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning to specifications and safety standards.
• Clean designated areas per schedule and supervisor instructions.
• Attend to urgent cleaning tasks and spills as needed.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked.
• Report hazards or problems to supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.

Shift Patterns are on a rolling Rota

Rota to be shared at interview stage but will involve 0600-1200, 0900-1500, 1400-2000

must be able to work weekends due to site being open 7 days a week

PSS group are a nationwide Soft Facilities Services provider, who work with some of the biggest names in retail, entertainment, facilities management and more.

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Attend to all urgent cleaning and spills when required.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Ideal Candidate:

• Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Polite and professional.
• Willingness to learn.
• Flexible and reliable willing to do overtime & weekends if required.
• Experience preferred but full training provided.
• Good self-presentation (uniform provided).
