Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at Elliot House 96 Edgbaston Road, Birmingham, B12 9QA. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. This role will give you insight into working in a residential setting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work that supports positive change. Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community.

What you'll do

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
• Work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards and helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas
• Maintain an approachable attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
• Be a team player and take instruction
• Age restriction: candidates must be over 18 years old and have valid ID
