Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking an experienced Cleaning Account Manager to join our Principle Cleaning Division, overseeing a key banking and financial services client with offices in Canary Wharf and The City.

In this dynamic role, you will lead approximately 100 Cleaning Operatives and 2 Supervisors, build strong client relationships, ensure service quality across all sites, and drive continuous improvement while complying with Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, manage pressure, and influence at all levels.
• Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• A solid understanding of Health & Safety systems within the cleaning industry.
• Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistently high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee and uphold the quality of service delivery across all sites.
• Recruit, manage, and coach cleaning teams, fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce.
• Conduct regular reports, audits, and project reviews to support the Operations Manager and meet contractual requirements.
• Lead contract and specification review meetings with clients to ensure ongoing alignment.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost efficiencies, and account growth.

Location: 4 sites in London (2 in Canary Wharf, 2 in the City)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 doe

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you’ll lead and inspire a large team of approximately 100 Cleaning Operatives and 2 Supervisors to deliver exceptional service standards across the contracts. Your leadership, people management, and client relationship skills will be vital in ensuring continued success and client satisfaction.
