Job summary

King Charles Primary School is seeking a committed, caring and enthusiastic cleaner to join our team. You will work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative, to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school.

This post is 10 hours per week, term-time plus 2 weeks holiday cleaning (41 weeks). The hourly rate is £13.48, with an annual equivalent of £6,357.92, and closing date to be advised.

CLEANER VACANCY

10 hours per week,

Term-time plus 2 weeks holiday cleaning (41 weeks)

3.30pm - 5.30pm

G2 (Point 4), Less than 5 Years' Service

£6,357.92 per annum

£13.48 per hour

We are looking for a committed, caring and enthusiastic cleaner to join our team at King Charles Primary School. We wish to appoint an individual who will work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative, to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school.

You will need;

• To be physically fit
• To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance
• To possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job tasks
• To observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties
• A team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour

Experience:

• Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential
• Experience of operating cleaning machinery and an understanding of COSHH will be an advantage, although full training will be given
