Job summary

Cranford Park Academy in West London is seeking a cleaner to join a dedicated team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role requires a good level of cleanliness and health awareness, with training in Health & Safety provided. You will work 7.5 hours per week (15:15–16:45) during term time with inset days, plus 2 weeks of 41 weeks per year.

DBS check will be required. Experience in a school is preferred, and candidates should be team players who can also work independently and use their own

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is essential.
• Experience in a school would be preferred but is not essential.
• Must be able to work in a team and also alone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school.
• Undertake cleaning in designated areas.
• Be responsible for cleaning areas, rotating with colleagues as needed.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with staff.

We are looking to appoint a cleaner to join our dedicated, supportive team on a permanent basis. Candidates should be enthusiastic and passionate, with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. A good level of general health and fitness is required. In house training including Health & Safety will be given where necessary.

During school closure, cleaning duties may vary throughout the school.

The successful applicants should be able to use their own initiative, but be a good team player.

Cleaning experience is essential. Experience of working in a school would be preferred but is not essential.

The successful applicant will be required to:

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school
• Undertake any cleaning in designated areas
• Be responsible for cleaning areas,, but in the absence of colleagues will be required to work on a rota
• Must be able to work within a team & individually, and have good communication skills.
