Job summary

St Mary Magdalene CofE Primary School is seeking a School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the premises. The role is part-time, aligned to term time, with morning or afternoon shifts.

You will perform vacuuming, toilet cleaning, dusting, window cleaning, sweeping, mopping and furniture cleaning, with occasional use of cleaning machinery. Training provided; enhanced DBS required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be self-motivated, a good team worker with an eye for detail and able to communicate at all levels.
• Experience is desirable but training will be given on site.
• All candidates are subject to safer recruitment procedures. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Working Time: 12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Salary £7,435 per year (actual)

We are looking to recruit a cleaner to maintain the high standards of cleaning across our setting. This is an important role that helps ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our children, staff, and visitors.

The post is for 2.5 hours per day Monday to Friday, term time only. There may, on occasions, be the opportunity to do additional hours to cover sickness etc.

You should be prepared to work between the hours of either 6am and 8:30am Monday - Friday or 3pm and 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
