Job summary

Amey is recruiting for a Permanent part-time Cleaner/Housekeeper for our Renfrewshire schools account in Paisley. The role offers 15 hours per week with AM or PM shifts (3 hours daily, Monday to Friday), at £13.51 per hour, on a busy school site.

You will deliver cleaning services to contractual requirements, manage consumables, operate cleaning machinery safely, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety for staff and students. PVG check is required.

• Highly organised, responsible, efficient with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using chemicals and machinery safely.
• Must undergo enhanced PVG check before commencing employment.

We are excited to offer a number of opportunities for a Permanent part time Cleaner/Housekeepers on our Renfrewshire schools account in St Andrew's Academy, Barrhead Rd, Paisley PA2 7LG

Salary £13.51 per hour

The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week. (Shift pattern Either AM or PM Shift (3 hours per day mon-fri))

What You Will Do

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
