Job summary

Amey is seeking a Cleaner/Housekeeper for the Northampton Schools account, based at Briar Hill Primary School. The role is on-site, fixed-term for 3 months, with a salary of £13.45 per hour and hours from 4:45am to 8:00am, Monday to Friday.

You will join a team delivering safe, clean learning environments and may access development opportunities within Amey's facilities services. Applicants should be reliable, punctual and team-orientated, willing to learn, and comfortable working early-morning

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual team player with flexible shift adaptability.
• Ability to work as part of a school-based cleaning team and maintain high standards.
• Demonstrates environmental awareness and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• DBS check required prior to employment.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to Join our Northampton Schools Account in Briar Hill Primary School (NN48SW) - This role will be based on site and will be a 3 month Fixed term contract

The salary is £13.45 per hour

The hours of work will be 4:45am - 8:00am Monday - Friday

Amey manages facilities for 42 Northampton schools, ensuring safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for students and teachers. We deliver 24/7 services with minimal disruption, working in partnership to maintain high standards

What You Will Do

• Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
• Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
