Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper for Hillpark Secondary School in Glasgow. This permanent role offers 15 hours per week, typically 4pm–7pm, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.51 per hour.

You will deliver high-quality cleaning services across the school, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance, while supporting wider sustainability initiatives where possible. This role requires PVG checks and a commitment to safeguarding students.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Glasgow Schools account in Hillpark Secondary school, 36 Cairngorm Rd, Glasgow G43 2XA

£13.51 per hour

15 Hours per week (Shist pattern 4pm to 7pm mon-fri)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do:

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
