Job summary

Amey is hiring a Cleaner/Housekeeper 1 on a fixed-term 6-month contract for Lochend Secondary School, Cairnbrook Rd, Glasgow G34 0NZ. The role offers £13.51 per hour for 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 15:30–18:30). You will contribute to creating a safe, clean learning environment for staff and pupils.

Responsibilities include stock control, operating cleaning machinery, and maintaining high standards with attention to health and safety. PVG checks are part of safeguarding the welfare of children.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a fixed term 6 months Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Glasgow Schools account in Lochend Secondary School, Cairnbrook Rd, Glasgow G34 0NZ

£13.51 per hour

15 Hours per week (Shift pattern Mon to Fri 15:30PM TO 18:30PM)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What You Will Do

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
