Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a Cleaner for St Giles on the Heath Primary School. This permanent, part-time role runs during term time, with responsibilities for daily cleaning and ensuring hygiene standards across communal areas.

The successful candidate will work both independently and within a team, delivering excellent customer service to staff and visitors while adhering to policies and procedures. Training and support are provided for enthusiastic individuals.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred but training provided.
• Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients and the public.
• Strong attention to detail with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning in line with Cleaning Supervisor's instructions.
• Deliver high standard of customer service to clients across the facility.
• Maintain hygiene levels across all communal areas in line with safety policies.

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines. We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at St Giles on the Heath Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis, working during Term Time. The Role Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility. Our Successful Candidate If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate
