Job summary

The Crestwood School in Dudley is seeking a cleaner to join the Cleaning Department on a 12.5 hours per week contract. The role covers school cleaning to required standards across 52 weeks per year, with emphasis on safety and consistent attendance. Training and a supportive team environment are provided within a Multi Academy Trust.

The post requires reliability, adaptability to varying tasks, and a collaborative approach to ensure a clean, welcoming school for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is cleaned daily to the required standard/specification.
• Work safely using proper warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment.
• Comply with Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.
• Support the Cleaning Department as part of a team.

FTE salary - £24,796 / Actual salary £8,377 (Pending pay award)

We are seeking a cleaner to join our Cleaning Department. Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties and responsibilities, which include ensuring that the school is cleaned every day to the required standard/specification.

Working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment and being mindful of hazards to other staff and students. Compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.

You will need to be;

Experience:
