Job summary

Nova Education Trust is seeking a School Cleaner to join our Nottinghamshire-based multi-academy trust. The role reports to the Senior Cleaner and supports site priorities with thorough cleaning duties to a high standard.

Experience is not essential as training is provided; an enhanced DBS check is required and all staff share our safeguarding commitment. The closing date is Friday 25th September at 9am.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, sweep, mop, dust, polish and vacuum designated areas to required standards.

Salary : Scale 2 £25,614 pro-rata, £9,145 actual salary per year

Start date : As soon as possible

We are looking for a suitably experienced and motivated School Cleaner reporting to the Senior Cleaner, assisting with site priorities which include,

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standards
• Emptying litter bins, etc., and removing waste to designated areas
• Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated

Experience is not necessarily essential for candidates who possess a proactive and enthusiastic outlook as training can be made available.
