Job summary

Rivertree Free School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities, ensuring a safe, tidy environment for pupils and staff.

You will clean classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces and manage waste disposal, with 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term-time plus three weeks as agreed with Site Manager.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaner to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, tidy, and pleasant environment for both pupils and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met throughout the school.

This role includes cleaning classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring that all areas are ready for the next school day. You will be responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitising surfaces, and handling waste disposal.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar cleaning role, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Term time + 3 weeks: One week to be worked during the Easter break, one week during the summer holidays, and the final week to be scheduled in agreement with the Site Manager.

Age 17+
