FOX MORRIS GROUP LTD is seeking reliable School Cleaners to maintain a clean, safe learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The role requires an Enhanced DBS certificate (Update Service) and a professional, punctual attitude.

You will clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas, restock supplies, and follow strict health and safety guidelines. Training is provided and ongoing opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• DBS Enhanced Certificate (Update Service) is mandatory.
• Experience in cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors regularly.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture and touchpoints.
• Clean and sanitise toilets and washrooms.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock toilet paper, soap and hygiene products.
• Clean internal glass and windows as needed.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow school cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
• Assist with deep cleaning during school holidays.

School Cleaner Required

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy School Cleaners to join our team. Successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service (mandatory).
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Dusting and wiping down desks, furniture, and touch points.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies.
• Cleaning internal glass, doors, and windows where required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
• Following cleaning schedules and school hygiene standards.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
• Assisting with deep cleaning duties during school holidays where required.
