Job summary

Longdendale High School is recruiting an Evening Cleaner to join the cleaning team. The post is 15 hours per week across term time, with shifts from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, and pays Grade A SCP 2 at £13.01 per hour. The role involves cleaning classrooms, stairs, toilets and corridors to keep the school environment clean and safe.

Experience is not essential but desirable. Applicants should be flexible, professional, and able to work well with others, following health and safety guidelines.

• Clean all areas of the school including classrooms, stairs, toilets and corridors.

Cleaner (Evening)

15 hours per week + 3 weeks (3.30pm-6.30pm)

In order to ensure the school environment is welcoming, clean and safe we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic candidate to join our cleaning team.

Working effectively, alongside other members of the team, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of all areas of the school, including classrooms, stairs, toilets and corridors.

Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A willingness to be flexible in your approach, acting in a professional manner, paying attention to detail, and having the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations and health and safety guidelines are all qualities, which are essential.

The post which is 15 hours per week is to be worked during term time as directed by the Site Managers/Operations Manager to ensure the needs of the school are met.
