We're looking for a Cleaner to join our St John's Catholic Comprehensive School contract based in Gravesend.

Location

St John's Catholic Comprehensive School, Rochester Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2J

Hours & Contract

30 hours per week – fixed‑term 3‑month contract

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you will help keep the school environment clean, safe and well‑maintained and support the school team.

Your day to day will include
  • Cleaning areas across the site to a high standard using COSHH and colour‑coding procedures
  • Using approved cleaning products safely (training provided)
  • Providing cover for sickness and annual leave
  • Working collaboratively as part of the wider cleaning team
What are we looking for?
  • Knowledge of COSHH and colour‑coding (not essential; training provided)
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Reliability, trustworthiness and ability to follow set cleaning standards

Driving licence not required for this role.
