Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at Rochdale probation Unit, Chichester St, Rochdale. You\'ll maintain high cleanliness standards across the site, contributing to health, hygiene and comfort for residents and staff.

The role involves executing scheduled cleaning tasks, periodic deep cleans, replenishing consumables, and working with the security team. Training will be provided; an approachable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work at a fast pace and take instruction.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Periodic deep cleaning as instructed by supervisor.
• Clean kitchens, toilets and communal areas to a presentable standard.
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soap.
• Work with the security team and report faults or hazards; help maintain cleanliness of their areas.
• Maintain an approachable attitude while performing duties.

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at Rochdale probation Unit 20 Chichester St, Rochdale OL16 2AU

In this role, you'll play akey part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site.

ApprovedPremises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison,offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within thecommunity.This role will give you insight into working in a residentialsetting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work thatsupports positive change.

What you’ll do:

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks


• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor


• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable


• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps


• You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards..whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too!


• This role requires you to have an approachableattitude

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed


• Be a team player and take instruction
