Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative at Crown - Shrewsbury Avenue, Peterborough PE2 7LB. You will maintain a clean, safe environment, perform scheduled cleaning tasks and deliver excellent service to our client and colleagues.

The role requires flexibility to cover Sunday–Thursday 6am–2pm, 37.5 hours per week, with on-site duties in Peterborough. We offer uniform provision, free on-site parking, and opportunities for career development and apprenticeships as part of Sodexo rewards and benefits

Qualifications

• Experience is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to daily changes and different tasks.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks
• Maintain high cleaning standards
• Empty bins and dispose of waste
• Replenish soaps, paper towels and toilet rolls
• Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Follow COSHH and health & safety procedures
• Wear PPE and use hazard signage where required
• Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests
• Report hazards and maintenance issues
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Work collaboratively with colleagues
• Complete cleaning records where required

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment while delivering an excellent service to our client and colleagues.

What You'll Do:

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks
• Maintain high cleaning standards
