Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Site-Based Cleaning Operative at HMPPS Newbold Revel, Rugby, CV23 OTH. You will carry out scheduled cleaning across the site to maintain high standards of health, hygiene and comfort for all staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, with knowledge of cleaning products and safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are expected.
• Ability to work at a steady pace and take direction from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning as instructed by supervisor.
• Clean and present kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps.
• Assist with bedmaking/stripping, portering, and related tasks as needed.

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMPPS Newbold Revel , Rugby, CV23 OTH

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the everyone at site.

What you’ll do:

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
• Cleaning, bedmaking/stripping, portering, some experience in similar environment desirable but not essential
• This role requires you to have an approachableattitude

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!

• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
