Job summary

Harper Green School, part of Leverhulme Academy Trust, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the class teacher's absence under the direction of teaching and senior staff. You will deliver set work programmes and support pupils, alongside administration and in-class support.

The role includes exam invigilation and break duties; enhanced DBS clearance is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• An appropriate degree or HLTA status.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Pre-employment safer recruitment checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the class teacher's absence
• Implement work programmes under the guidance of teaching and senior staff
• Assist students in relevant activities in line with their needs and school policies
• Undertake administrative duties
• Provide in-class support
• Invigilate exams
• Cover school break and lunchtime duties
