Thetford Academy, part of Inspiration Trust, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes when teachers are absent, enabling ongoing learning. The role includes general curriculum support, planning, and resource handling in a supportive environment.

You will demonstrate calm leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage behaviour while delivering set work. The appointment reflects a 37-hour week during a 39-week term, starting January 2027.

Competenze

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills at GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience supervising or teaching groups or classes.
• Proficient use of technology to support learning.
• Clear written and verbal communication with pupils and carers.
• Understanding of SEN needs in academic settings.

Mansioni

• Provide high-quality supervision of classes to cover short-term absences.
