Job summary

GCS Associates in Morley, Leeds (LS27) is seeking a Class 2 Multidrop Driver to join the builders merchant team. You will drive a Class 2 HIAB vehicle, with full training provided, delivering building materials to customers across the region and supporting yard and warehouse operations.

Hours are Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00 with alternate Saturdays 08:00-12:00. Salary £33,000 - £36,000. A contributory pension and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Class 2 LGV licence required.
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) required.
• Be a big team player.

• Be reliable and enthusiastic.
• Enjoy talking to lots of different people.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, timely and dependable delivery service.
• Provide cover for Honiton, Exmouth, Crediton and Tiverton during holidays / periods of absence.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks.
• Make sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure.
• Keep your yard clean, tidy and well organised.
• Work in the yard and warehouse.
• Serve customers.
• Support your team mates.

Our client is a well-respected builders merchant group with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 Driver based out of their Morley branch in Leeds (LS27).

It is driving a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with full training provided.

This is a full time permanent position; the role includes:

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service
• Providing cover for Honiton, Exmouth, Crediton and Tiverton during holidays / periods of absence
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
• Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
• Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Working in the yard and warehouse
• Serving customers
• Supporting your team mates

You don't need to know about the products or the industry as full training will be provided; all you need is to:

• Have Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence
• Have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
