Job summary

GCS Associates is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join the Glasgow (G41) branch. You will deliver to customers in the construction supply sector and support yard/warehouse operations while maintaining safety and service standards.

Full training is provided. You must hold a Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence and a Driver Qualification Card (DQC). We value teamwork, a positive attitude, reliability and enthusiasm, plus ease in talking to many different people.

Class 2 Driver based out of Glasgow (G41)

Our client is a well-respected builders merchant group with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 Driver based out of their Glasgow branch (G41). This is a full time permanent position; the role includes:

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service
• Providing cover for Honiton, Exmouth, Crediton and Tiverton during holidays / periods of absence
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
• Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
• Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Working in the yard and warehouse
• Serving customers
• Supporting your team mates

You don't need to know about the products or the industry as full training will be provided; all you need is to:

• Have Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence
• Have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Be a big team player
• Have a really positive attitude
