Job summary

GCS Associates is seeking an experienced Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver for our Edinburgh branch. You will deliver reliably, perform regular vehicle checks and maintain safety while supporting yard and warehouse duties.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts. A valid Class 2 LGV licence and DQC are essential, along with a positive attitude, reliability and excellent people skills.

Qualifications

• Have Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence.
• Have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
• Be a big team player.

• Be reliable and enthusiastic.
• Enjoy talking to lots of different people.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle checks.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00-16:30 & Alt Sats 08:00-12:00

Our client is a well-respected builders merchant group with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 multidrop Delivery Driver based out of their Edinburgh branch. This is a full time permanent position; the role includes:

• Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
• Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
• Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Working in the yard and warehouse
• Serving customers
