Job summary

GCS Associates, on behalf of a respected builders merchant group, is hiring a Class 2 multidrop Delivery Driver for the Scunthorpe branch. This full-time permanent role involves delivering to customers, vehicle checks, and helping in yard and warehouse tasks. Training will be provided.

Hours are 07:00–16:30 Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00. A Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence and a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) are required.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence is required.
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) is required.
• Be a big team player with a positive attitude.
• Reliable and enthusiastic with good communication.
• Enjoy talking to lots of different people.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service.
• Carry out vehicle checks on a routine basis.
• Ensure you and your vehicle are safe and secure.
• Keep yard clean, tidy and well organised.
• Work in the yard and warehouse.
• Serve customers and support teammates.

Our client is a well-respected builders merchant group with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 multidrop Delivery Driver based out of their Scunthorpe branch. This is a full time permanent position;
