Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting multiple Class 2 Drivers to join our dray crew in West Thurrock. You will work with a Driver's Mate to deliver our products to customers across sites and build strong relationships on route.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the role requires a valid Class 2 licence and CPC, knowledge of Highway Code and safety practices, and a customer-focused approach. The position offers extensive benefits and a competitive salary, with overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 driving licence and CPC card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Customer service experience.
• Manual handling training desirable; full training provided during induction.

Responsibilities

• Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
• Support Drivers’ Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Use knowledge of the local region to deliver on-time.
• Maintain health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Job Title: Class 2 Driver
Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: Average of 48 hours per week with start times to vary, no earlier than 4.30am.
Salary: £44,088 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:
As a Class 2 Driver with Carlsberg Britvic, you will be working in a dray crew, alongside your partnered Driver's Mate as you visit different sites, interacting with different customers on route whilst delivering our amazing products!

Experience and Key Attributes:

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.

• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
