Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join a growing plant hire business in Swindon. This is a secure, Monday to Friday role with a competitive salary and strong benefits.

You'll deliver and collect plant and equipment, perform daily vehicle checks, keep tachograph records up to date, and maintain high standards of vehicle safety while working closely with customers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Full C licence is required.
• CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• CSCS Site Visitor card is required.
• Experience as an HGV Driver is essential.
• Plant hire or construction industry experience is essential.
• Safety-conscious and reliable approach expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant and equipment safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Keep tachograph and driving records up to date.
• Communicate with customers and site teams.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety.
• Follow all relevant transport regulations.
