Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join a growing plant hire business. This is a secure, Monday to Friday role with excellent benefits and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

You will deliver and collect plant and equipment, perform vehicle checks, and maintain compliant tachograph and driving records while adhering to transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 license (C+E).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• CSCS Site Visitor card or equivalent.
• Experience as an HGV driver is essential.
• Plant hire or construction sector experience is a must.
• Reliable and safety-focused approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant and equipment safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Keep tachograph and driving records up to date.
• Communicate with customers and site teams.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety.
• Follow all transport regulations.
