Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver in Chatham. This Monday-to-Friday role offers a salary of £40,000-£44,000 with private medical insurance and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include delivering plant and equipment, performing daily vehicle checks, maintaining tachograph records, and liaising with customers and site teams. Valid C+E, CPC, and Tachograph Card required; plant hire experience essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full C+E licence.
• Must have CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• CSCS Site Visitor card required.
• Proven experience as an HGV driver.
• Plant hire or construction sector experience essential.
• Reliable, safety-conscious approach.

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
