Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver in Luton. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a salary of £40,000–£44,000, private medical insurance, life assurance, enhanced annual leave, cycle-to-work scheme, and opportunities for overtime and ongoing training.

Responsibilities include delivering and collecting plant and equipment safely, vehicle checks, tachograph records, customer and site-team communication, and strict adherence to transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Full C+E licence holder
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• CSCS Site Visitor card
• Experience as an HGV driver
• Plant hire or construction industry experience is essential
• Reliable and safety-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant and equipment safely
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Keep tachograph and driving records up to date
• Communicate with customers and site teams
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety
