Job summary

Driver Hire Burton is recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver in Swadlincote. This full-time, ongoing role is Monday to Friday with a 6am start, and you will drive a Class 2 vehicle with a driver mate.

The job offers weekly pay, holiday pay accrual or advance, and immediate starts. A valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph are required, with up to 6 points on licence. Experience preferred but NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Comfortable handling handballing and working safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 vehicle with driver mate/porter.

HGV Class 2 driver

Swadlincote

Full-time, on-going

£16.08 to £18.02 per hour.

We are currently looking for an additional Class 2 driver to join our client based in the Swadlincote

You will be responsible for driving the class 2 vehicle, and you will have a drivers mate / porter with you. This role is full-time, ongoing. It's a Monday to Friday position with a start time of 6am.

NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME

Job Requirements:

• Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
• HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 12 months experience.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card.
• Happy to do some handballing
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Comfortable working safely and independently, following Health & Safety steps at all times.
• Previous experience transporting construction products is desirable.
• Good with customers.
• Has a good eye for detail.
