Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Swindon is hiring a Class 1 Driver. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with a salary of £40,000-£44,000 plus private healthcare and great benefits. You will deliver plant and equipment to sites, complete vehicle checks, and maintain accurate tachograph records.

Experience in plant hire or construction is essential. The ideal candidate holds a full C+E licence with CPC and tachograph card, and a CSCS Site Visitor card.

Qualifications

• Full C+E licence with valid CPC and tachograph card.
• CSCS Site Visitor card required.
• Experience as an HGV driver in plant hire or construction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant and equipment safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Keep tachograph and driving records up to date.
• Communicate with customers and site teams.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety.
• Follow all relevant transport regulations.
