Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic UK is recruiting a Class 2 Driver in Farnborough to join our dray crew, working with a Driver's Mate to visit customer sites and deliver stock. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will drive up to 26 tonnes, support loading/unloading, and build strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class 2 licence and CPC, with good knowledge of the Highway Code and local routes.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving legislation.
• Knowledge of the local region and ability to deliver on time.

Responsibilities

As a Class 2 Driver with Carlsberg Britvic, you will be working in a dray crew, alongside your partnered Driver's Mate as you visit different sites, interacting with different customers on route whilst delivering our amazing products! Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following: Role Responsibilities:

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
• Supporting the Driver's Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes. A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Customer service.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction. Working Hours: 46 hours per week. Predominantly working on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary to suit business needs. Salary: £45,488 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary.
