Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Class 2 Tipper Driver for our client in London. You will operate Class 2 vehicles, perform tipper work, and complete daily paperwork.

The role offers early 06:00 starts, Monday to Friday, with overtime on Saturdays. A DCPC card and Digi-tacho are required, and 12 months Class 2 experience is essential. A £35 bonus is paid after 8 hours and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 Driving Licence and have at least 12 months driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• licence up to 6 points accepted; DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements not accepted.
• Knowledge of WTD regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles and perform tipper work (training provided).
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and maintain trailer/cab cleanliness.
• Ensure loads are placed and secured correctly.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and high work standards.

Job Title: Class 2 Tipper Driver

Location: London

Pay Rate: £16.82 to £18.95 per hour (Pay: £16.82ph + £2.13 holiday pay = £18.95ph)

Bonus: £35 bonus payable after 8 hours

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 start times)

Overtime: Saturdays/6th Shift available

Experience: 12 months Class 2 essential

Assessment: Yes - required before start

Class 2 Tipper Driver - role & Responsibilities:

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
