Job summary

Flexible People Ltd are recruiting Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join a large client in the aggregates and construction industry. The role offers regular Monday to Friday work with early starts and the chance to increase earnings through a daily attendance bonus.

You will transport aggregates and construction materials between sites and depots, perform safety checks, and adhere to site procedures in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
• Have no DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Previous tipper driving experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect aggregates and construction materials from sites and depots.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Report any vehicle defects in line with company procedures.
• Follow all road traffic legislation and site health & safety procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Communicate professionally with transport teams, customers and site staff.

Class 2 Tipper Driver - £16.82 per hour + £35 Daily Bonus

£16.82 per hour + £35 daily bonus (£20.82 estimated hourly rate when bonus criteria are met)

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join a large, well-established client operating within the aggregates and construction industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work, early starts and the opportunity to increase their earnings through a daily attendance bonus.

As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of aggregates and construction materials between sites and depots. The successful Class 2 Tipper Driver will be reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a busy construction environment.

We are looking for Class 2 Tipper Drivers who hold a valid Category C licence and have previous driving experience. Previous tipper driving, aggregates or construction site experience is preferred but is not essential.

The Role - Class 2 Tipper Driver

• Operating Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivering and collecting aggregates and construction materials from sites and depots.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks.

Working Hours & Availability

• Monday to Friday
• Early starts, typically 6:00am
• Standard shift length: 8.75 hours
• Drivers must attend all booked shifts during the week to qualify for the daily bonus.

Pay & Bonus

• £16.82 per hour flat rate
• £35.00 daily attendance bonus
• £20.82 estimated hourly rate when the bonus criteria are met

The £35 daily bonus is payable when the driver:

• Attends all booked shifts offered during that week.
• Completes the full 8.75-hour shift.
• Meets the required attendance and working conditions.

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
• Have no DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Tipper Driver is preferred but not essential.

The Ideal Class 2 Tipper Driver

The ideal Class 2 Tipper Driver will be:

• Reliable, punctual and committed to attending all booked shifts.
• Safety-conscious and aware of construction site procedures.
• Comfortable driving and operating a tipper vehicle.
• Able to communicate effectively with transport teams and site personnel.
• Flexible and available for early morning starts.
• Comfortable working within a busy construction and aggregates environment.

Training & Induction

Full site induction and health & safety training will be provided before starting.

PPE requirements will be confirmed prior to commencement.
