Job summary

Backline Logistics are recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team along the A303/A34 corridor. We offer regular ongoing work with full-time, part-time and ad hoc shifts, immediate start dates and weekly pay.

You will operate Class 2 / Category C vehicles, complete multi‑drops, perform daily checks, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service. A valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph card are required; experience preferred but newer passes welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Ideally 12 months experience, newer passes welcome to apply.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable and professional with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 / Category C vehicles.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries and collections as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork.
• Provide a professional level of customer service.
• Work safely and in line with company and site procedures.

The Role

Backline Logistics are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to work with us for our established clients on the A303/A34 corridor.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular ongoing work, full-time hours, flexible shifts or temp-to-perm opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 / Category C vehicles
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections where required
• Carry out daily vehicle checks
• Complete all delivery paperwork
• Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
• Provide a professional level of customer service
• Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally 12 months but newer passes are welcome to apply
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
