Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our expanding client base across the local area in the United Kingdom. This role offers ongoing work with potential permanent opportunities, demanding high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

You will be responsible for multi-drop and palletised deliveries, vehicle checks, paperwork, and adhering to road transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop and/or palletised deliveries to commercial and residential customers.
• Loading and unloading vehicles where required.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and electronic records.
• Following all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
