Job summary

Booker is recruiting a delivery driver to join our local team. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, load and unload goods, and maintain strong relationships with regular customers to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.

Role involves Monday to Friday shifts, some weekend work, and requires a valid CatC / 18T licence along with prior driving experience. Training and support are provided to ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2 required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Able to carry out manual deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Keep shelves full with products for customers.
• Deliver to regular customers and provide a high standard of service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift pattern may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
