Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver in Whitchurch. Shift options include 01:00–07:00 or 16:00–19:00 with discussion of preferred window. Role involves 5 drops/day across RDC/production sites and cash & carry deliveries, with 10–12 hour days and no handball.

Experience: 12+ months with 2+ years on licence; CPC and Digi Tacho required; IN10/DR10 or >6 points not allowed. Full-time, onsite parking, weekly shift bookings, and a competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience with 2 years on licence.
• Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
• Drivers must not have IN10 or DR10 and cannot exceed 6 points on licence.

Shift Pattern

Days start time range 01:00 - 07:00, Night start time range 16:00 - 19:00

Drivers can select preferred start time window within the above frame, this will be discussed with the agency.

Responsibilities

• HGV1 Artic vehicle
• Average 5 drops per day
• All palletised goods, no handball, some pump truck usage
• Drops to RDC, Production sites, Cash and Carry's
• Average 10 hour days, wont go above 12 hours
• NO handball
• Full time work available, weekend availability preferred but not essential
• Assessment day on first shift - paid
